Emotional Kim Chiu recalled how actor Xian Lim made her feel special when her mother died in an interview on “Kris TV” Tuesday.
Chiu shared her experience with Lim when he was there to comfort her while she was grieving over the death of her mother.
EMOTIONAL. Kim Chiu recalls her experience with Xian Lim when her mother Louella Yap-Chiu passed away last June.
The actress’ mother, Louella Yap-Chiu, passed away last June 23 due to aneurysm at the age of 50 in Cebu.
“Ano ba ‘yon? bakit ba ako naiiyak?” Chiu said as she tried to fight her tears as she recalled the wake of her mother.
“Pagdating ko sa wake tumawag ako sa kanya. Basta ang dami naming pinagsabihan tapos doon ako natulog sa harapan ng (kabaong) ng mama ko. 6 a.m. nandiyan na siya (Lim) sa tabi ko,” Chiu narrated.
“Sabi ko, ‘Saan ka nanggaling? Sino ang sumundo sa iyo?’ Sabi niya, ‘Tinawagan ko ang ate mo.’”
For his part, Lim said he just felt that Chiu needed him to be there at the time.
“I know she needed someone, so maski hindi ako ang kailangan niya, I will just be there,” Lim explained.
Chiu and Lim are now shooting for their newest movie project.
